Service and eligibility

BachatMeter is an expense-tracking and budgeting app operated by Lucky Pradhan, intended for adults aged 18 or over. It helps record expenses, display spending summaries and offer general savings education. Use only financial records and messages you are authorized to access.

Accuracy and financial education

SMS extraction, categories and summaries may be incomplete or incorrect. Check records against your own statements and correct errors, duplicates, refunds and transfers. Savings suggestions and investment education are general information, not personalized investment, tax or legal advice. The app does not execute investments, connect to bank accounts or lend money. No savings or investment outcome is guaranteed.

Planned plans

Free includes manual and supported SMS expense tracking, category charts, monthly summaries, an overall budget, basic savings tips and full CSV export. Plus adds category budgets and monthly CSV/PDF reports. Pro adds deeper spending comparisons and general investment education. The final available features, prices and billing periods will be shown before checkout.

Payments and cancellation

Paid subscriptions, once available, require an explicit purchase through Google Play. Free use does not automatically become paid. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play. Cancellation normally preserves access for the remaining paid period; refunds are subject to Google Play’s applicable rules and your statutory rights. Deleting data or uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.

Internet access is needed to purchase, restore and periodically verify premium access. The current build caches verified access for no more than 24 hours and never past the verified expiry. Free records remain available after a subscription ends. This build does not support immediate in-app plan switching; a replacement plan can be selected after the previous paid period ends.

Your records

Expense data is stored on your device without cloud synchronization. Export important records before clearing storage, uninstalling or changing phones. Exports are for your records and are not an automatic restore mechanism. You are responsible for protecting exported copies.

Availability and updates

Features may depend on Android compatibility, SMS formats, permission approval and Google Play availability. We may update the service and these terms, with appropriate notice of material changes. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
